If it is made up of just the youth and their friends, there is a very important element missing. The parents must be actively involved and become the backbone for any successful youth group. Are we really so naive, that we would think that someone who saw our kids 2 or 3 times a week would have as big of an impact as the ones who are raising them and hopefully leading them to Christ all along. I believe our philosophy should be a simple one. The youth minister will partner with the parents to decide what exactly we want these young men and women to know before they leave home. In Proverbs 22:6 it says, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” The youth minister exists to help equip the family to accomplish the spiritual goals they have set for their children. We must see the need for one generation to pass on the teachings of God to the next. In Judges 2:10 is says, “After that whole generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation grew up, who knew neither the LORD nor what he had done for Israel.” We see in 2nd Timothy 1:5 the deep faith that Timothy had that was passed down to him from his family. 2nd Timothy 1:5 says, “I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.” We are here to assist the youth in finding and developing their spiritual gifts so that they can use them to build up the body of Christ.

Reaching out to the Families of Scotland

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/Sguhmq2z55I/AAAAAAAAARs/BRtjQUvA3w4/s320/Dick+and+Anne.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335535869261768594" />
Lord willing we will move to Scotland in the summer of 2010. I see my goals for Scotland as very similar to what I think my goals would be if I was working with a church in the states. Scotland is hurting for strong Christian leadership in their families just like America is. My first objective will be to figure out what their current way of doing things is. I see no need to come right in and begin to change things that are already working. In the beginning I am there to learn and observe. Something that struck me was the fact that an entire generation of young adults was missing from the church there. That means that the church will begin to die out soon unless we can begin to reach out to this missing generation. I think our team fits perfectly into that role because who better to reach out to young adults than a team full of young adults.
Another goal I have is to be able to get to know each member intimately. The churches in Scotland are small enough (20 -30 people) that it allows for some real one on one time with the members. A goal I have in doing this is to learn about each member and to find out about what each of them brings to the table. Some might be good at relating to the youth group but maybe have never been asked to do so. Some might be very good at personal evangelism and bible study. I hope to help them discover their spiritual gifts that God has blessed them with and to help them use and develop those gifts for the glory of God. We have used several good Spiritual Giftedness tests here at school, and I hope to use some of those with the Scottish brothers and sisters as we begin our work together. I would also like to use some form of these tests with the youth of the church. The earlier they can see the gifts that God has given the better.
I want to build very close relationships with the elders of that church. Jenny and I were blessed during our time in Scotland to stay with an elder and his wife. Dick and Anne were an amazing couple who really taught us a lot about what the needs are of the church there. Dick is very open to fresh and new ideas and I really see us getting along very well together. There are only three elders in the congregation there, but this will help to be able to get to know them very well. Jenny and I plan to spend time in their homes and to learn as much as we can from them. I see the need for these men to be actively involved with the youth and their families. I want to work with them to design curriculums and teaching materials for the youth.
The church in Scotland regularly meets in each other’s homes on Thursday nights for their mid-week service. So I would try to find an additional time to meet as just the youth. Maybe this could happen on a Tuesday night every other week. It would need to be flexible with their schedules. My goal at the meetings would be to cover the issues that the teens are facing in school and with their friends. I think the format of this would not be like a regular Sunday morning church class. It would need to be more interactive and filled with application and practical things that they could take with them. I also see this meeting as a great way to help them reach out to their friends. This type of environment would be great to bring their friends along to. I want to be sure to stress to the youth the importance of reaching out to their friends with the Gospel of Christ. They need to understand the circle of influence that each of them have. This will help not only to grow the youth group but it will also help to light a fire under the parents when they see that it actually can be done! I know that it is a lot easier to make plans than it is to actually get them done. I understand the importance of being flexible with all plans that are made, especially those that are made before we get to the field. I know with God’s help we can accomplish great things for his kingdom in Scotland!

Where has the Family gone?

One of the biggest downfalls in the family today is the lack of male leadership in the home. When I think of a strong Christian family I think of one in which the father is leading his family to a deeper relationship with God and with each other. The sad fact is that this ideal biblical model is becoming harder and harder to find. We have all been cut to the heart by the stories that we have heard throughout our brotherhood. Families are and have been falling apart for quite some time now. Divorce is so common today, that there is almost no negative stigma attached to it anymore. We even find this to be true in the church. Have we forgotten how God feels about all of this? In Malachi chapter 2 he reminds the people that the Lord acts as their witness when they enter into the marriage covenant. They are not to break faith with the wife of their youth. Then God himself speaks in verse 16, “I hate divorce….guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith.” God makes his feelings about breaking the marriage covenant very clear in this text. As someone who has experienced its devastating effects first hand, I think I begin to understand why God speaks out against it so strong. Let us agree with God, and do everything in our power to keep our families from falling victim to it.

8 Months old!

It is hard to believe that this little guy is 8 months old already! We have officially joined a mission team that will be going to Scotland in the summer of 2010! Our dear friends and classmates Robin and Chrissy Vick are the ones who first told us about the need for workers in Scotland. Robin is from Scotland and his father is a missionary there. The Lord has been working on our hearts about this for over a year now, we kept saying that mission work was not for us and that we were not cut out for that kind of work but it turns out that God has different plans for us than we thought ( it always seems to work out that way thankfully! ).
We will be taking a survey trip in March for two weeks to look at a few different churches that are interested in having a mission team work with them. Our vision for the work is to find a congregation who is interested in partnering in a church plant in their area. We will work with that church for 6 month to a year helping them to build up in numbers and help them to reach out to their community. During that time we will be looking for a place where the church plant will meet and start the ground work for the church plant.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 134px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SX4TPFEgHuI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/afPfMJsZPZw/s200/scotland3.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295691361614307042" />
As of right now our team is made up of 12 people, four couples and 4 singles. The team may be more or less when we go over in 2010 but we are praying that everyone is able to go. Please keep us in your prayers! We had a blast! We left last Friday afternoon and drove to Albuquerque NM and spent the night there. The next day we got up early and drove the rest of the way to Mesa, AZ. The drive was absolutely beautiful! It was so cool to see the landscape change from flat farm land to majestic mountains, God's creation is truly amazing!
We spent the week relaxing and playing with Jeremy's two younger brothers Dylan and Dayton. Lucas soaked up all the love and attention from Grandpa Aaron and Mimi and he did great on the long car rides there and back. We had so much fun just spending time with family and relaxing.
This week we start a new term in school, please keep us in your prayers as we continue our studies.
Here are a few pictures from our trip!

Things have been a little crazy...

My goodness things have been pretty busy around here! We have been back in the swing of school for about a month and a half now and things seem to be moving so fast. We only have two weeks left in our first term and then we have a break week. We along with Jeremy's brother Brandon are planning a big trip out to see their dad in Arizona that week. We are planning to drive so please pray that we don't all go insane from Lucas crying in his car seat the whole way! :)

Speaking of Lucas, he is already three months (that is so hard to believe) and he is getting so big. He had started to smile and laugh alot and is cooing all the time now! He is going to be quite the vocal little man. :) He got to spend a little time with Nana and Papa Robey this weekend and he gave them lots of belly laughs!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SOBCRrphsVI/AAAAAAAAAL8/Hp8qhm2PR5o/s200/009.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5251270037056106834" />

We are now entering into the time where we are staring to look for a job for after school. We have been praying about exactly what we want to do after school because we have seen that God could use us for a number of different things. Please join us in our prayers as we continue to make decisions and seek God's direction in our lives. We love you all! Here are a few more photos of Lucas!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; Of course we were not as nervous as we were this time last year, but it was still just as busy. We have had fun getting to see our friends and catch up on what we did over the summer. The Lord was at work through many of our classmates this summer and many people came to know Him because they took the time to care. Here is a picture of our class, notice the cute baby boy in the front row!

Back in Lubbock!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SJifbr3O45I/AAAAAAAAAKs/Zws1dMn5tJE/s200/006.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231106265170502546" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SJifcOBJrNI/AAAAAAAAAK0/Y_l1kl6wX1Q/s200/011.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231106274338909394" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SJifcXJOFlI/AAAAAAAAAK8/ymMmnU8uYrY/s200/018.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231106276788672082" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SJifcvLoO-I/AAAAAAAAALE/Rvkr4zcdPsE/s200/007.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5231106283241225186" />
This summer has been a crazy one! Jeremy and I really enjoyed our time in Wichita Falls this summer and we are really excited about the year ahead. We got back to Lubbock on Sunday night and we have been slowly working on getting our apartment back into shape. We are glad to finally show Lucas his room and have him sleep in his crib!

School starts on Monday the 11th and Jeremy is going to be getting right back into the groove of studying and memorizing. He will be taking Minor Prophets, Ephesians/Colossi ans, Youth and Family, Sacrificial Systems, and a preaching lab. I will not be taking classes for credit this year so that I can have more flexibility with Lucas.

Jeremy's brother Brandon will be starting school at SIBI this year, I am not sure if the school can handle another one of those Aaron boys! :) Please keep him in your payers.

As always we are so thankful for your prayers and support, we are truly blessed! Please pray for us this year as we begin our search for a job after we are finished at Sunset. Please pray that we will have open eyes and open hearts to what the Lord has in store for us. We love you all!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SHVtOuJhBxI/AAAAAAAAAIo/mU05jQMZ7S4/s200/005.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221199442679498514" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SHVtO70JlcI/AAAAAAAAAIw/arVz4MJddUQ/s200/001.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221199446347978178" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SHVtPE2TZTI/AAAAAAAAAI4/9SPg6PF_3jA/s200/002.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221199448772928818" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/SHVtPZrE6qI/AAAAAAAAAJA/WdOAqiJSmgU/s200/003.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5221199454362987170" />
Lucas is growing and changing right before our eyes! Lucas is growing and changing right before our eyes. He is awake more during the day now and is looking around alot and he loves to kick his little legs and flex his arms. We took him up to the hospital on Thursday for a little check up and he has gained almost a pound and he is very healthy. When Lucas was born he came out with the cord wrapped around his neck and the cord had what they call a "True knot" tied in it. The doctor told us that it is a miracle that he was born with out major health problems, the only thing that he needed was some I.V. antibiotics for a few days. God was truly watching over us and Lucas.

I guess I will back up here and tell a little more about the day of delivery. He was due on June 25Th but he decided to wait until the 27Th to make his appearance. I started having contractions Thursday at dinner and we tried to time them but they were really irregular so we decided to stop timing them. That night we prayed for a clear sign (like my water breaking or something) and not too long after that I got up to use the bathroom and my water broke! We got to the hospital about 12:30am and we got settled in our room as our parents arrived. After a few hours they came and gave me an epidural but that one did not take and the anesthesiologist was not able to make it back around for another 2 1/2 hours so I was in very intense labour for that time. In that time I dilated from a 3 to and 8 and poor Jeremy probably thought I was going to break his hand off.:) The second epidural worked and by that time it was time to push. About 20 mins. later baby Lucas came into the world at 12:49 pm

We had to stay in the hospital for 3 days because he was getting I.V. antibiotics so we got to come home on Monday morning. Jeremy and I love being parents! Lucas is such a joy and is always full of surprises (some more smelly than others!)
Please keep us in your prayers as we adjust to life with a newborn. We love you all!

Sweet baby...

<img style="display:block; This past year has been amazing, wonderful, challenging, trying, enriching, and all around mind-blowing. We have taken some time to look back on ourselves from the time that we arrived at school up till now and we are amazed at the transformation that has taken place in our lives. We have not only grown in our knowledge of the word but we have grown in our closeness to the Lord. As a couple we have learned more about how to love each other like God loves us. As individuals we have learned how to depend on God more fully and know that He is faithful in every circumstance. We are so thankful that God is in control and we are not. He has placed SIBI in our lives at exactly the time that we would thrive in it the most.

We are now back in Wichita Falls for the summer and Jeremy is interning at Tenth and Broad with the youth. This first week he has spent most of his time at the office setting up and working on his lessons for the summer. He helped Allen this weekend with a Jr. High lock in and he is now trying to catch up on some sleep. He will be teaching on Sunday mornings this summer and his class will be focusing in on leadership. He will be taking a character from the Bible each week and looking at the leadership qualities in each. The goal of the class will be for the teens to conduct a worship service at the end of the summer so they can display their leadership skills to the church. Jeremy will also be helping with two summer camps and a mission trip to Mexico while he is here, He is going to be one busy guy!

As for me, I am just trying to relax as much as possible before Lucas arrives. I am due on the 25Th of this month so I am just in the waiting game right now. I have been feeling great so far, but I can tell that my body is getting ready. Please pray for a safe (and on time) delivery.

We love you all and thank you so much for your continued prayers and support!

The crib and changing table are up :)

<img style="display:block; Well, I have been trying to wait until something blog worthy came along i guess. Jeremy has been hanging in there with all of his school work this term. Since we came off of our research week it seems like Jeremy's work load has been pretty non stop. We only have a week and a half of school left for this term and then we have SPRING BREAK! After that we only have one more term until the summer break is here. This year is going by way too fast!
Things have been going along smoothly with the baby and I have been feeling great! He is moving around ALL the time and that is the greatest feeling in the world.:) I am now 25 weeks along and i am getting bigger by the day, I love my baby bump!
We went to Wichita Falls this weekend for Chris and Lydia's wedding shower. It has been so wonderful to see Chris so happy and in love and we are all very excited about the wedding!
Please be praying for our classmates as we have had alot of illness going around the past few weeks. It just seems like the flu has hit really hard this year. Please also pray for endurance so that we can finish out this term strong. We love you all!

It's a BOY!

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/R6oZqks81uI/AAAAAAAAAFU/gzWzOwCUX4E/s200/aaron2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163968141931108066" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/R6oZqks81vI/AAAAAAAAAFc/KZdizauf1-4/s200/aaron3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163968141931108082" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/R6oZq0s81wI/AAAAAAAAAFk/cJ5hEE8LQUc/s200/aaron9.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163968146226075394" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7mytOmKQusE/R6oZrEs81xI/AAAAAAAAAFs/f1AAFi7wtzM/s200/aaron10.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163968150521042706" />
Here is our beautiful baby boy! We went to Wichita Falls and stayed there for about a week and then we headed off to Tulsa to see Jeremy's family for a week. We spent most of our time relaxing (well maybe i should say being VERY lazy) and enjoying time with family. We spent Christmas in Wichita Falls and had a great time with my parents and Chris and Lydia. We are very blessed to have Lydia as the newest member of our family, she always makes things more fun and interesting for all of us. :) We are back in Lubbock now and we start school on Monday... I think we are ready to get back into the routine of school but we really did enjoy our time off. This is the first time since we have been married that we did not have to rush back home for work after the holidays. The Lord has blessed us tremendously over the past year and I can't wait to see what He has in store for us this year!

Baby Aaron!!!

This is our first official baby picture! We went to the doctor on Monday and they did the ultrasound and that was the most amazing thing Jeremy and I have ever seen. I think we were just in awe of God's perfect little creation. It was moving around and waving it's little arms and legs and seemed to be so content. The doctor said that everything looked very normal and that all of my blood work came back normal as well from my first appointment. We are so excited and nervous to meet our little one in a few months! It is a little intimidating to think that we will be bringing an eternal being into this world, that we are the ones primarily responsible for bringing them to Christ. We have been in a class called Christian Home this term and we have learned so much about how to bring up a child in a happy nurturing home (the timing could not been more perfect for this class) and we have learned a lot about the do's and dont's of Christian parenting. We both were blessed to have been brought up in loving Christian homes and I think the best thing we can do is to take from those experiences in our own homes and mold them into our own lives. Please be praying for us these next few months as we prepare our home and our marriage for this little blessing. We love you all and can't wait to see you over the holidays!

Christmas time is here again!!

Well, I could not figure out how to rotate the pictures so sorry that you have to look at them sideways! We had a lot of Christmas fun this weekend with our friends Robin and Chrissy. We went and bought our trees and then went back to their house and put theirs up and we put ours up today. Now I am in the Christmas mood! :) I guess I will put a little school update here... The past few weeks have been pretty busy and this term has proven to be much more challenging. Jeremy is taking a Greek class and is doing VERY well in it. He also has a few other classes that deal more with evangelism and sermon writing. My classes are about the same but I did have to give my first little speech in my speech class this week and it went very well. We are adjusting to the idea of having a little one here in about 7 months or so and things have been going very well as far as me feeling good and all. I feel very blessed to have had almost no major sickness during the last few weeks. God is good!

It's baby time!

I am sure that most of you know this by now but I found out last Monday that I am pregnant! Yep, that's right PREGNANT. I think that both Jeremy and I are still in shock but the more that we tell people the more it is sinking in. I will have my first doctors appointment next Wednesday (Nov 14) but the nurse told me on the phone that I should be about 6 weeks along right now. Jeremy is very excited and has already put his order in for a boy. :) We told my parents this weekend and they were surprised but I know they are ready to be grandparents and Jeremy's parents are ready to be grandparents as well. We are very blessed to have parents who support us in everything that we do and I know that between the four of them our child will be VERY spoiled. Please keep us in your prayers!!

Camping

Sorry it has been so long since our last post but nothing very blog worthy has been going on. We have finished our first term! We had our finals week last week and this week we are on a break. no school, no reading,no studying... its a good thing that its only for a week cause we could get used to this. :) We went camping at Caprock Canyons earlier this week and we had a blast! The weather was great and the scenery was amazing. It was nice to get away and be able to appreciate God's creation. We only had one little critter visit us on our last night and whatever it was got into our trash and it stole the bag of cereal that we accidentally left out. Oh well, at least it got a nice breakfast. We took a hike around the edge of the canyon and we got to see the most breathtaking views we have ever seen. Overall we had a great time but it is nice to be home.

These are a few pictures from our new favorite place to study. Of course we found some time to have a little fun but we are trying to stick to a routine. Anyway, next week we will gear back up with school work and all that fun stuff. I never thought this would happen but i kinda miss being in class... strange isn't it? :) anyway, we had a fun time visiting in WF this past weekend. It was very strange to be a visitor at church but we were glad to see all of our friends that we miss so much. Jeremy has had a few big tests this week and I had one today and we are both ready for a break. We actually have the whole week off next week to catch up on reading and get ahead on some school work and we are looking forward to it. These last few weeks have been so amazing! I can't even begin to express how much God has blessed our lives through Sunset. It is so wonderful to be around people who want nothing more than to glorify God and to do his will. Our instructors are some of the most Godly minded men i have ever meet. They not only teach the Bible but they help you to see it in ways that you never thought possible. They make the word come to life.
I am so thankful that God is so Mighty and powerful. he is our Rock and our Salvation. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is our protector and Healer. Jeremy has been reading and studying his little head off! I think we are finally getting a routine down. Yesterday we had our first cultural experience in Lubbock with our friends Ken and Debbie from China. They had us and another another couple named Crissy and Robin over for a authentic Chinese meal. As we came into their home we took off our shoes and had a seat on the couch. Debbie served us green tea and fruit and explained to us that in China this is how you would start a meal if you were to have guests over. Next came to food and let me tell you it was great! We each had a bowl of rice and the main dishes were served family style in the middle of the table so you could just take what you wanted and put it in your bowl. We had a vegetable and chicken dish, Potatoes that were in strips and cooked in oil, spicy green beans, and eggs with tomato. They taught us how to eat with chop sticks and that was quite comical! But more that the food was the fellowship. Ken and Debbie were so sweet and hospitable to us. They have so many amazing stories of their life in China and how they came to be Christians. This is their first time outside of China and they are excited to get to know us and our culture. Please pray for them that they will have a smooth transition here and that they will continue to learn and grow in Christ. I will try in the next post to have a picture up of all of us eating with our chopsticks, it is funny!

first week down, many more to go...

We made it through our first week of classes without any major fiascoes so i think the school year will be really good. We had orientation on Monday and Tuesday and then classes started on Wednesday. Jeremy has a full class schedule where as i am only going to take classes part time. Jeremy will be taking Christian Evidences, Old Testament, Spiritual Disciplines, Life of Jesus, and Intro to Ministry Studies. I am taking Spiritual Disciplines, Public Speaking, Survey of the Bible, and Creative Hospitality. We are going to be pretty busy! There are about 4o or so people in out class and they are all so wonderful. I know that God put such a diverse group of people together so that we can learn from each other. We had the privilege to hear a little bit about how everyone came to this point in their lives.. God had done such amazing things in order to get people here! We are very excited to get to know our classmates and we already know that we have made some life long Friends. Please pray for us over these next few weeks because they are going to be pretty busy. Please pray that we will stay focused not not forget the reason we are here and that is to serve God.

Crazy times ahead....

Well, we start school tomorrow. We have been waiting for so long it is almost hard to believe it is finally here. It has been amazing to see how God has had His hand in this from the very beginning. Just thinking back on the time that we first talked about it and all the way up until now we know for sure that God has led us to this point. He has shown over and over through our fund raising and our move that this is where He wants us to be. Please pray for Jeremy through these first few weeks because it is going to be pretty busy getting to know the new routine of school. We got the call today and looked over the offer and then made our counter offer and then they made another offer and then we said OK . ( that's totally confusing right?) Anyway, that's pretty exciting for us because we don't want to pay a house payment and an apartment payment for any longer than we have to. So that is about the only really exciting thing that has gone on this week so far. We of course have enjoying our life of leisure before school starts (we have to start getting out of bed before 10 this week). Anyway, we start at SIBI on the 13th so now we have a week to get school supplies and all that jazz. Please pray that everything on the house goes smoothly.

We made it!

So we are finally in Lubbock! We loaded up the truck last night and left early this morning. We got here about 12:30 and got everthing off the truck and now we are in a sea of boxes. During our first day we managed to not get lost (wich is a miracle in its self) and we found Wal-Mart so we are good to go. We are very thankful that Jenny's parents were able to come with us and help us get settled in. We were also very blessed to have such wonderful friends back in Wichita Falls that were able to help us load our truck and get sent off. We are going to miss all of our friends and family back in the Falls but we excited to start our new adventure here.
